Do you like to fish? Do you use live bait that you've caught with a net or a trap? How many times have you had your bait die before you could use it? Using an ordinary little plastic bait bucket will kill your bait if you put more than a few in it because those buckets just don't allow enough water to flow through them so the bait die from lack of oxygen. Another problem is that they float so the bait are baked by the heat of the sun.
What about CRABs, do you like to catch crabs at your dock. Man, fresh crabs are great, especially when caught in your own crab trap. But... what do you do with the crabs you catch until you have enough to make a boil? Put them in the freezer is the normal answer. Or the other answer is to cook and eat them as you catch them. Well neither of those is completely satisfactory. Frozen crabs just aren't fresh enough and you need at least a bushel to have a good time with you and your favorite crab eating partner cooking them in your favorite seasoning and busting them open.
How do you solve these problems? Use the Better Bait Bucket and Crab Corral. These big buckets are the answer to better bait management and keeping your catch fresh. These bait buckets are deep enough to keep your bait from getting cooked and have a net that ensures water exchange. No stagnant water slowly robbing your bait of Oxygen. Your crabs are right back in their native environment so they stay fresh until you have enough to make a meal of.
These come in three sizes with multiple options. They are BIG. For that reason I recommend purchasing the bait buckets in kits. This keeps the shipping to a minimum and they are easy to build. That doesn't mean that I won't ship them fully assembled, I will (anywhere in the continental U.S.) but that's a little expensive.
